– a collision of art and writing interlocking in spirals

I have a friend who likes peacocks, so I decidedΒ my next blog post would be this drawing I did for her πŸ™‚
For this one I used a mixture of watercolour and acrylic paints.
There’s also a bible verse on it that came to mind as I was painting.

I hope you like it πŸ™‚

Update – Sep ’13

Hi guys!
I just realised it’s been over a year since I first started this blog.. and I forgot to celebrate it haha. Thanks so much for your support! I appreciate every like, comment and view on my work.

Life is busy, but I’ll try my best to upload a special picture for the one year anniversary of my blog! πŸ™‚

New blog post coming up soon! πŸ˜€
I’ll also be starting a mini-series of posts that will be Christian-focused.. keep watching this space!Β Β stay tuned!

Can you give me a hand?

It was a bit hard getting the right angle, proportion and shape for the guy’s hand in ‘Lone Mountain’ (see the post below!), so I decided to practise for a bit πŸ˜›

Here’s a hand I drew from Mike Criley’s ‘how to draw hands in 2 diff ways’ video! (see link below)
I basically followed his steps, but rounded the edges a bit more to make them look more realistic. There’s still lots of room for improvement, but I’m quite pleased with how this turned out πŸ™‚ hope you like it!

Snoopy Christmas

Hello again,

I’m going through my old drawings and uploading them. Hence you might find a lot of new stuff on this page in the next few days, but then find it goes quiet again πŸ˜›

Here’s another Christmas card I drew, this time it’s Snoopy (yay!) πŸ˜€
Again, I’m not particularly proud of it as it needs improvement, but thought I’d upload anyway.
